" The rising cost of just about everything these days many people rethinking summer vacation planned. But you don't the sacrifice on the save money Tom Brosnahan a New England travel planner dot com joins us with a bunch of trips. You can take on just one tank of gas it's great to have you with this time -- year there's so much jam packed in New England that are really truly does from Connecticut to Maine take -- take aghast."

" That's right you can drive from the Connecticut shoreline where the lots of things to do all the way after the Maine coast you can drive from Boston. To Burlington Vermont even Canadian border on contact again."

" Are we all always talk about the beach in that their New England has beautiful beaches but what about some other things to do. Like I found very interesting you know that New England as the birthplace of a lot of them are American America."

" But really is the place where American literature and art began we have found Daniel Chester French who did the famous as -- did franken at the Lincoln Memorial Washington. The the minuteman statue in Concord he's buried in Concord where I live. -- Walt Ralph Waldo Emerson Henry David Thoreau and particularly Louisa may Al Qaeda who her house in Concord is. A Mecca for every little girl who has read little women and yeah. It's a big draw yes and we do you attack talking about. A little bit about the beaches and never get to Cape Cod we passed from one that north if you want something different maybe less of a crowd. But the interesting thing to me was I -- can -- that Massachusetts alone has 1500 miles of coastline. That is the main -- amazing if you think you've seen the Massachusetts coast. You haven't seen it all because of that long to Connecticut shoreline where I was just the other day is amazing it has wonderful beaches. There are I've I've visited several good wineries down there we don't think of New England as a wine growing degree Napa Sonoma but there are over sixty wineries in in New England. And the main coast I have. Met Swiss people and Germans on the main coast who have flown over from Europe. Just a hype there because there's nothing like -- beautiful."

" I was gonna say that you know we tend to think living here in New England that I'll logon vacations and other parts of the country of the world but a lot of people. Com to New England to see what we offer here is great in his hair."

" That's right in New England inexperience has it. People have tried to duplicated all over the United States and the world a -- started here. If we think of our region New England as a world class destination. It's very easy to plan a full you know -- the annual vacation here. And do it on only a tank of -- so so where else do you recommend. Well of course if you haven't been to the Berkshire's and a long time that's you that's I must see because it's not just Tanglewood it's not just Jacobs -- they're all sorts of things going on out there. As I said the Connecticut shoreline and northeastern Connecticut are very little visited. Northern Vermont and New Hampshire are. -- a little farther from Boston and therefore a lot of people from the metropolitan area haven't discovered them there's there's lots to do."

" The New Hampshire beaches are beautiful -- and what great ends in Vermont exactly against some of the ski resorts. That you know obviously people -- in the wintertime have a lot of activities -- until absolutely they do they do not closed down they have all sorts of of activities they have hiking biking there's a lot of summer theater and I thank you mention down Tanglewood in Jacob's pillow but there -- lots lots of other federal -- clear Maine has a wonderful summer theater there there's a summer theater and -- and Connecticut they're they're really dozens of them sound circus Marcus and circus circus is one of the things that I I find most interesting about New England we have only the only. Youth circus that tourists around in the big top you know 750 person tent. They give 71 performances around the region every year and it's a marvelous show and is against him so if anybody thinks they've done at all in New England what would you say you're crazy -- actually crazy look at that the way somebody coming from Miami or London or or Hong -- wouldn't and you get a completely different perspective -- all on one tank of gas thank you so much time we -- appreciated Tom Brosnahan of New England travel -- dot com thank you"
