Major food companies have a new label you may have noticed on some of the products you buy at the grocery store it's the smart choice label. It's turning up on breakfast cereals ice cream mayonnaise and got the attention of Connecticut's attorney general the question is what is so smart. About frosted flakes fruit loops mayonnaise ice cream. RD. NutraSweet smart. Or -- trips we suspect. Blumenthal has launched a twofold investigation he wants to know who's paying for the smart choices program.
