[description] Iraqi soldiers are warning residents to leave the embattled Baghdad neighborhood of Sadr City, ahead of what might be a larger offensive by US and Iraqi forces against Shiite militiamen. We speak with Tina Susman, Baghdad bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times. Slavery did not end with the end of the Civil War. In fact it went on in a different form until World War II. Free blacks were arrested on trumped up charges all across the south and were leased to landowners and industries.
