We speak with Peter Goff, co- owner of the English lending library, China Bookworm, in Chengdu. China is coping with a natural disaster; so too is it's neighbor and ally, Burma. What is the relationship between these two countries? Our guest is Melinda Liu, Beijing bureau chief, Newsweek. We speak with NPR's Art Silverman from Chengdu. Journalist Elizabeth Drew has been covering John McCain for more than a decade. Her 2002 book, "Citizen McCain", chronicled his fight for campaign finance reform.
