The Registry of Motor Vehicles today revoked the driving license of the 88-year-old woman who allegedly killed pedestrian Dija Patel, declaring Ilse R. Horn of Canton an “immediate threat†to public safety.Patel’s death marked the worst of four crashes involving elderly drivers this month, prompting a rising call across the state to monitor and retest senior operators. Proposed Senior driver's legislation calls for testing every 5 years after the age of 85. Is this sufficient?
