The Boston Globe reports that the deal first hammered out during meetings in Helsinki Finland was forged by key members from both Shiite and Sunni parties. The pact is not expected to have an immediate effect on the ground and there are skeptics but to supporters. The private effort at diplomacy is a miracle. Joining us from Baghdad is -- O'Malley the University of Massachusetts at Boston professor and longtime peacemaker who convene these talks. He's had successful reconciliation efforts in northern Ireland and South Africa he brought former enemies from both those countries to the table. Ford talks in Helsinki and more recently Iraq. Poor -- the previous talks of between these -- leaders had been very secretive they were flown to Helsinki.
