“…do even a more limited sort of activities abroad. First sound as North Korea. . This is not surprising to those you pay attention to the region but is it is an incredibly important -- for several reasons not just the proliferation of nuclear weapons but most importantly for the corporation new weapons. There's been a series of negotiations and agreements especially in 2005 and 2007. But that the government in North Korea is anything but predictable. In August it declared that it was going to sort of stepped back from some of the steps towards disable that it. It had taken and I took out some equipment from its nuclear reactor that it previously disabled suggesting that -- up -- them back together. That's perhaps scuttling February 2007. Agreement that was reached. And then there are reports are just a few weeks ago that. North Korean leader had a stroke may have died. Right so we may have a succession crisis amid -- nuclear crisis and that to me. Is one that could happen any any time between now and in January 20 but certainly even after dinner twentieth defense and in North Korea could explode. In ways that are that that are unexpected. The once suggestion that I would make with respect that policy is that I think it's important for whoever is elected McCain or Obama. To basically continue with the roadmap that was set by Christopher hill and the Bush Administration. Because if the US -- comes to North Korea with a new set of demands -- going to have another eight years probably. Equally torturous negotiations when I mean there's a pretty good deal on the table with believe that it to the denuclearization. North Korea. . -- secondly Taiwan after giving this talk having this talk here Gardner of the election than a year ago this would have …”
