Lawrence Responds to Jimenez Death

In Iraq, the Army has found the body of a Lawrence army sergeant ambushed and abducted by terrorists linked to Al-Qaeda, more than one year ago. The bodies of Alex Jimenez and another soldier were found after the army received a tip on where the bodies were. With less than three weeks to go in the legislative session on Beacon Hill, pressure is building on lawmakers to move bills before adjournment for the summer. High fuel prices and economic uncertainty are causing many New England families to scale back their vacation plans and head for a local campground.
